After a successful crossing, it is time for us to part with our beloved Lady Charmian, a fully equipped Woodvale Pairs. She’s a British registered plywood ocean rowing boat that showed her worth over the years. She comes with a trailer.

She represents great value for teams of one or two seeking to make a safe crossing with a limited budget.

Prior to our crossing in December ’19 – February ’20, we offered her a major refit:

• The hull was repainted (marine grade 2-components paint) 

• Deck and keel reinforced with fiberglass

• New inspection hatches

• New wiring

• New slides, foot plates and rails in aluminum – pretty much indestructible

• Rowing positions lengthened to allow taller teams to row together

• New solar panel (140W) and new batteries (2 x 90Ah) (+charge controller, USB sockets and BMS)

• New vhf and gps antennas

• New LED navigation lights

• New jackstays

• New grab lines

• 2 x New bilge pumps

• New compass: Plastimo Contest 101
